sealife aquarium, melbourne

Mamma has always been fascinated by what lies beneath and Sealife Aquarium takes you on a fantastic adventure into this magical underwater world.

Follow the maze of corridors and at every turn you will find something to marvel at - the colours, displays and creatures are abundant. From giant crabs to the majestic jellyfish and the silently circling sharks, to majestic sea horses, sting rays, GIANT croc and of course the penguins.

They have talks and feeds that run all day at various times so you can learn more about each creature, plus the Art aquarium where the littlies can create their own species of fish and see it swimming around on the virtual aquarium. You can also navigate easily with a pram via lifts that run next to the escalators - with crowds being your only obstacle.

Mamma says catch the train in, and bring your own lunch to save a little money. And beware the old ‘gift shop exit’ too...oh and if you do drive don't forget to collect a parking rebate ticket from the front desk if you park at the closest Wilson carpark 474 Flinders Street so you only have to pay $22 during the week and $9 on weekends rather than hefty charges... Or pre-book!
