the boatbuilders yard, south wharf

Mamma loves all things city life. The laneways, the coffee, the hustle and bustle. Yet when you have a pram and a restless AND hungry toddler in tow, you need something kid friendly and close to the CBD. Welcome to The Boatbuilders Yard. A warm and welcoming modern Aussie Pub with a scrumptious menu plus half a dozen kids’ options. Does it matter the time of day? Not a jittery jot! You can come for brunch and stay through lunch to dinner, if you please!

The menu includes some classics and south American inspired choices for both the brunch and lunch/dinner menus, with good options for kids. The Boaties big breakfast is always a winner and Little Miss 8 gave the burger two thumbs up!

There is a stack of room in the outdoor space but Mamma's favourite HAS to be right beside the Polly Woodside! On a sunny day, it’s the perfect possie to enjoy the fresh air and bask in the glory of Melbourne’s waterfront.

You do need to keep your eyes on the little ones as you sip the house-made lemonade, as we are still on a wharf and there is plenty of water around.
