monopoly dreams, melbourne central
/Welcome to MONOPOLY Dreams where your board game dreams can come true!
MONOPOLY Dreams is a NEW interactive and multi sensory experience, designed for family fun at Melbourne Central. The feeling is like you have entered a giant version of the game! You enter in a calm and controlled manner - starting with an elevator ride into Mr Monopoly's mansion. Here you, explore the collections of games (did you know there was a Lunar New Year version of the game!), complete a quiz to determine your character piece (Mamma was the scotty dog for those playing along at home) - and then the games really begin!
First you’ll be blown away at the 4D cinema. This brings the adventure to life and it engages all of your senses as the chairs rock and roll throughout the short film about a jewellery heist. After, carefully traverse the lasers in Mr Monopoly’s Vault to retrieve a diamond.
Then you can visit jail - but for the full experience keep a Get Out of Jail Free card in your pocket and dress up for the part. As you head through the Water Works there are plenty of interactive puzzle games on the wall, power to generate at the Electric Company. We all thought the parlour games and the Photo Booth were fun but we absolutely LOVED the dash for cash in the Ultimate Bank.
As you make your way through monopoly land, you earn that classic MONOPOLY money that can be used for a little bit of a discount at the gift shop or the cafe. We love the nostalgia and the classic references throughout the spaces. There are LOTS of top hats, scotty dogs and properties to spot along the way. The bigger kids - primary age group and older (right up to adults) - got the most out of the experience and we had to finish off our visit at the cafe.
So start at go and make your way to MONOPOLY Dreams with the crew today!
