dreamrace, the district docklands

Parents of primary aged children, your days of ho hum indoor play centres are officially over. Dreamrace at The District Docklands has taken an indoor soft play zone, turned it into an amazing interactive and digital play space.

Dreamrace is a multi part play space, all with different ticketing options, allowing you to choose what best suits your kiddos.

Dream Ronin - This is a huge ‘wipeout’ style challenge wall where the kids manoeuvre themselves across the pipe style platforms and avoiding barriers to get to the other side. There are lots of soft landing options and once the kids have mastered the wall, they can zoom down the slide or soar across on the flying fox.

In the same space you’ll find interactive colouring tables and a ball pit, with a digital wall perfect for target practice.

Then there is Dream Ride. This is a bike style virtual reality experience that the kids will LOVE. Once they have selected their world and are safely secured into their bikes, the fun begins. Not only the riders fully immersed in the story with their VR goggles, but the machine moves in time with the action.

Add in some water mist and a wind machine, it is fully immersive fun.

Lastly you’ll find Dream Spartan (this is Mamma’s FAVOURITE!) - this is a very cool ninja style obstacle course…but better! Why? The kids collect points for racing around the space. Using a wristband, they register their name and start collecting points at each checkpoint. They have 30 minutes to scan their wristbands at the coloured lights throughout the play space and boy-oh-boy do they want to collect those points! They climb rope ladders, balance on different beams, dive into ball pits and race up the warped wall over and over again.

It’s just like a video game, but for real life!

Mamma says this is the perfect way for kids to burn off some energy. Dreamrace is located right next door to Dreamskape and is an epic family adventure!
