dye your own eggs - museums at home
/Mamma’s crew love a bit of creative fun - especially when we get to explore the kitchen and use everyday ingredients to create something new. We checked out the Museum at Home ideas and discovered the super cool Dye Your Own Eggs activity from the Immigration Museum.
The website takes you step by step through the instructions and this activity was super fun (and tasty) at the end of it all. You just need eggs, some common ingredients from home to help colour (coffee, onions, tumeric, beetroot and other colourful foods), some water, some patience and a little bit of time
Age suitability: This activity is perfect for kids 5 and up. Parent help and supervision is HIGHLY recommended especially for parts that require a cooktop!
Mamma’s special mentions: Make sure you give some of the other activities a go too there are lots to choose from PLUS they are adding more fun every week - CLICK here for all the at home family activities
