What a place! Mamma loves that Hoffbräuhaus has lasted the test of time - having opened in 1968 and being the longest running Hoffbräuhaus outside of Germany.

Perfectly unchanged in its 60 odd years of operation, it feels like you have stepped back in time and into a cozy German alpine beer house. The staff are exceptionally friendly, happy (of course you would be working here!) and they are all gorgeously dressed in theme which adds to the atmosphere.

You won’t go hungry here. All the meals are HUGE and DELICIOUS, so you can’t help but finish your mountain of schnitz - or close to!
Don’t forget to grab a brezel to start with, and finish off with a strudel too.

Oh, and Mamma says, warm the cockles with a butterscotch schnapps and they will bring it out on a float for you, complete with ringing cowbell! It does NOT get better than that! They even brought out a shot of apple juice each for the kiddos so we could all cheers.

The restaurant is full of families, with babies sleeping in prams and little ones wandering around during the day, but also a great place for dinner with some friends to experience the live music with one or two more schnapps!
