Mamma Knows SOUTH Scout Application

As we continue to grow, the Mamma Knows team are looking for a new scout to join the ranks in the south of Melbourne, heading out on adventures, discovering hidden gems and checking out the latest fun!

We’re on the hunt for an adventure-seeking team member who:

  • Has a keen eye for photography

  • Is super organised

  • Has a way with words that can spark inspiration

  • Comfortable with social media scheduling

  • Comfortable with talking to camera (it gets easier the more you do it!)

Our scouts are sent on select missions in our community and contribute to the ever growing resource of the Mamma Knows South online collections, documenting their visit with images, a reel and writing up the article, as well as some work behind the scenes, scheduling some social media and creating a weekend ‘what’s on video whilst out and about.

This role is a paid role starting around 5 hours per week (may vary) starting at $32 per hour and has potential to grow. You also get expenses covered up to a certain amount every month. You can choose your hours over the week but have some deadlines that must be adhered to.
PLUS you get the option to attend fun events, premieres, and exhibitions and more!

This role is perfect for a mum (or dad or carer) with baby(ies)/preschooler/s who loves to get out and about anyway, plus also wants to keep up their skills while taking a break from 9-5 work.

This position will be supporting the team at Mamma Knows South, with the potential to expand into further areas of responsibilities.

We are currently on the look out for Mamma’s in the southern suburbs of Melbourne!
(anywhere from Port Melbourne to the Mornington Peninsula - see below map)
