No words can describe this unique experience or give it any justice but if Mamma had to choose one word to describe the Royal Botanic Gardens Lightscape, it would be… MAGIC!

This immersive, after-dark experience will have you AND the little ones feeling like you are in another worlds and walking around in wonder. Explore the textures on the tree as they glow in different colours, watch the lights dance through the lake and as you skip through the grounds. Explore the lively beams of light twinkling in the sky and walk through the glowing tunnel. It really is beautiful.

The lights, music and sounds work so well together in light and sculpture performances as you meander through the gardens. Be prepared - the trail is roughly 2.1km long and we completed it (with a stop for a drink) in a little over an hour.
There are some hills (Mamma’s pocket full of lollies distracted the youngest to help get up them), but you move with the crowd at a nice steady pace oh and the drink stations come in handy along the way too!

Or have a delicious pit stop at the LOVELY Terrace with tacos, donuts, drinks and marshmallows where you can toast them on the open fire! Or grab a mulled wine at The Prosecco Van on your way through.
