australian open, melbourne park
/The Australian Open - arguably one of Australia’s biggest sporting events - is a day FULL of fun, filled with games, activities, amazing food and an incredible atmosphere….oh, and there is TENNIS too!
Mamma says, you don’t need to be a tennis fan to come and enjoy the day, but it MAY turn you into one.
The area is HUGE, with so many things to see and do - with a dedicated games area for the kids including huge inflatable water slide, there’s also daily story time and shows.
Then dotted throughout the event near the food areas are more games like POP, table tennis, totem tennis and plenty more.
The food options are so good Mamma wishes she had 4 stomachs - you can get everything from Piccolo’s meatball panini, tacos and El Jannah Chicken. Oh and fingers crossed for the return of the Peach Melbourne dessert - it’s to die for.
Now, tennis! There are plenty of places to watch a game in the park on the big screens - on deck chairs and bean bags, but with a Ground Pass you can enter most of the courts - except centre court and certain matches. So easy.
It’s a great day out, and they have really made it such a great event for families.
