Just down two blocks from North Melbourne station, you will find the most incredible, tiny eatery serving the most scrumptious and dainty Korean/Japanese dishes and French inspired desserts.

Mamma rarely ignores tonkatsu if it’s on a menu, and Moon Mart’s is a goody! Their set includes a fragrant miso soup, to-die-for onsen egg, rice, a selection of house made condiments and the most succulent fried pork cutlet imaginable. Mamma thinks this could be the best katsu set in Melbourne! (And maybe Japan!)

But it doesn’t stop there - breakfast is available until 11am where you could choose char sui bacon and fried egg roll or house made shokupan rye toast and more. From 11, rice sets and sandos reign supreme.

The coffee is first class and special drinks like pink grapefruit & honey cheong soda and freshly juiced green apple & hog plum with yuzu.

Now, for desserts. Say bonjour to a pandan macaron, French hot chocolate, coconut and kaya chiffon lamington or whatever fresh bakes are on display for the day.
