CEREE, spring st

CEREE is a fantastic authentic Filipino eatery in Melbourne city. And the destination is an amazing way to escape the hustle and bustle of city life - nestling into their cosy private courtyard, tucking into an ube latte, BBQ chicken and garlic rice is just the ticket!

When Mamma went, the kids ordered noodles and smashed avo on toast from the breakfast menu, but Mamma had the chicken skewers and garlic rice. Well, everyone ended up eating off Mamma’s plate so let’s just say the BBQ skewers come highly recommended from the whole Mamma gang!

Apart from the classic Filipino dishes like silog and batchoy, there are also cafe staples including eggs on toast or eggs benny with a Filipino twist.

You can’t look past ube when it comes to the treats here! Ube reigns supreme in cheesecake, coffee, corn sponge and latik options. Mamma had the coconut ube sponge and it was delicious, really flavoursome and not too sweet.

A little store inside will have you filling up a shopping bag of Filipino goodies on the way out. Mamma says this is an awesome place to head on your next city adventure!
